Is our business up to date?

I was going to write about the latest hot fixes for some 2011 Autodesk products, but figured it's not really news since any software user can go to the Help pull down menu and select Search For Updates.  Or in the case of many Autodesk products, just click on the Communication Center icon and it will let you know if updates are available.

So, while I was updating my 3ds Max Design 2011 software with the latest hot fix, it occurred to me, how do I know if our business is up to date?  We don't have access to a Search for Updates utility, nor do we have a development team looking at ways to improve what is already in place.  Or maybe we do!

Three Legs or Four?

As a first-time blogger, I feel like a three-legged table that knows the fourth leg is missing.  Does it matter that it's missing, and can I get by with three?  Three legs will work if I reconfigure them into a tripod formation.  Having three legs will be fine as long as I don't apply any real weight to the surface of the table.  But chances are it will wobble and probably topple over.
